The good news is that in almost all cases ANYONE can purchase goods from the suppliers we list although there are those that will only deal with companies or sole traders. The main aim of the directory is to provide useful information to those already in, or looking to start, their own business but if you are merely looking for bargains for yourself there is no reason for you not to use the directory for this purpose.

Why would I pay for membership - can't I find all the traders in your directory for myself through a search engine, ebook or a free directory?

Most true wholesalers and dropshippers are listed in the major search engines. Unfortunately there are also many thousands more "middle men" competing with them for a position the search engines. The trouble is telling which is which. We vet every entry in our directory so you can find the best source for a given product, and therefore the best price.

Some of the wholesalers in our directory, however, do not have their own websites and are therefore impossible to find online. Membership to Wholesalers2U gets you contact details for hundreds of these companies, for less than the price of a monthly trade magazine.

There are many eBooks available on the net claiming to have up to date lists of reliable wholesale sources. We have tried dozens and always found them to be woefully out of date and not worth purchasing.

There are free directories available online, but these tend to have affiliate links to the wholesalers they list. In other words, they gain something for every time someone clicks through to the companies they list. This approach is understandable, as the directories have to have some way to cover their running costs but this idea is fundamentally flawed. These free directories are likely to list companies based on how much they get back for each click, NOT based on how good a supplier the company is. Wholesalers2U only lists companies that we have identified as bona fide wholesale sources - we have done the homework already for you.

What am I getting for my membership fee?

Your membership entitles you to full access to the directory of thousands of wholesale sources for hundreds of thousands of different products. What kind of prices can I expect to be paying for products?

The wholesalers we list sell at trade prices. Depending on the product, the difference between a trade price and a high street price can vary enormously - in some cases it is possible to buy products at as little as 10% of the retail price. Inevitably, wholesalers will be able to offer the best prices possible for high volume purchases, but this does not in any way mean you cannot buy products one at a time initially to start making profit and build your business.

Do I have to buy in bulk?

Not in most cases. There are a few wholesalers listed in our directory who only take bulk orders, but these are in the minority. The vast majority of listed wholesalers are quite happy to sell products one at a time. The dropshippers among them will send the products you buy directly to your customers for you saving money on shipping and time packing & sending the items you sell.

Do you have a complete product listing/pricelist?

It would be impossible for us to maintain a list of products from all the wholesalers in our directory and keep it up to date with the latest prices & stock availability. We have to rely on the wholesalers themselves to give us information on their latest and greatest offers, but the true power of Wholesalers2U is in giving you the contact details to get in touch with the wholesalers directly as you are their direct customer.

What relationship does Wholesalers2U have with the companies listed in the directory?

We must stress that while the purpose of the directory is to provide a comprehensive listing of the best trade sources available, we are not engaged in any direct business with any of the companies we list. We do not charge wholesalers for a place in the directory and do not earn any kind of commissions on sales they make to you. We do, however, carefully vet each request to be listed to ensure (to the best of our ability) that the companies listed are legitimate wholesale suppliers. We always welcome any comments from members regarding entries in the directory they feel do not come up to the standard they would expect.

How often is the directory updated?

We are working constantly to keep the directory as up to date as possible. We remove out of date entries and add new ones every week.
